SouthernRugsTx was founded in Dallas, Texas, in 2024 after a simple search for the perfect Oushak rug revealed a frustrating reality: beautiful, handcrafted rugs were often priced far beyond reach, and the shopping experience rarely matched the quality of the product. We believed there had to be a better way.

Our mission is simple: to make timeless, heirloom-quality Oushak rugs more accessible without compromising on craftsmanship, quality, or service.

What began as a passion for interior design has grown into so much more than a rug company. It has become a community of homeowners, designers, and rug lovers who share an appreciation for thoughtfully designed spaces. We believe the right rug has the power to completely transform a room, creating a home that feels warm, bold, colorful, inviting, and uniquely yours.

Today, we are incredibly proud to have our rugs in more than 1,500 homes across Texas and beyond. Every milestone has been possible because of the trust and support of our amazing customers.

We are committed to ethically sourcing exceptional rugs from skilled artisans in India and Turkey, where each piece is meticulously handcrafted using traditional Persian and Turkish knotting techniques. Made from 100% wool and woven using generations of expertise, our rugs are designed to be enjoyed for years to come.
